The History Behind The Unreleased Tracks From 1996
Never released or signed Dubplate (Acetate), it got played out so much it wore out….
Raw to the Floor (SEXY SAX MIX)
We wanted to create a almost jump up track for people to really let themselves go to where ever they are on the dance flow. The Sax was originally a piano until we tweaked and tweaked until we both got the sound we wanted. Back end of this track people would react to it in ways I can’t express words to that feeling all I can say is my body was trembling on the decks by the roar of the people cheering me to take it back to the top….
Let It Breathe
This 1 is close to my heart. As myself and Vern at the time were going through stuff in our personal life. Very hectic indeed and also we both wanted to create something for the dancefloor to breathe for a while and take a wee break. Although this became a sunset and sunrise anthem rather than main room club…
Set My Mind Free
We were messing around with looped bass riffs one night in Verns studio. In the other room radio was on in background and Queens “We Will Rock You” found that bass riff and looped it & took it from there….. Can’t remember who the superb vocalist was. Send us a message if you recognise them!
